Young reporters and editors engage in all aspects of newspaper production, from pitching ideas to interviewing, reporting, editing, illustrating and planning for publication.
Through a collaborative partnership with the Rivertowns Dispatch, the local, independent newspaper of the Rivertowns, selected work from the fall Newspaper Club will be published in the Little Dispatch, a kids-only section of the print newspaper.
This class meets weekly from 5:15-6:30 at HudCo (145 Palisade Street, Dobbs Ferry, New York) on the following TUESDAYS in 2026 & 2027:

SNOW-DAY MAKE-UP (IF NEEDED): JANUARY 19
*A LOCAL REPORTING FIELD TRIP will take place during our class time on September 29th. Transportation will not be provided. Field trip details are subject to change due to weather or scheduling considerations.
Open to children in Grades 2-6.
Tuition assistance and scholarships are available.
We offer a $50 sibling discount.
