



























































Spring After-School: Newspaper Club
Young reporters and editors engage in all aspects of newspaper production, from pitching ideas to interviewing, reporting, editing, illustrating and planning for publication.
Through a collaborative partnership with the Rivertowns Dispatch, the local, independent newspaper of the Rivertowns, selected work from the Spring Newspaper Club will be published in the Little Dispatch, a kids-only section of the print newspaper.
This class meets weekly for for 75 minutes on the following dates in the winter and spring of 2025:
JANUARY 21, 28
FEBRUARY 4, 11, 25
MARCH 4, 11, 18, 25
APRIL 1, 8, 22, 29
MAY 6, 13, 20
Open to children in Grades 1-6.
Tuition assistance and scholarships are available through our partnerships with Spring Community Partners and the Ardsley Panthers Family Fund. Story Salon is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, equitable community and is actively seeking additional partnerships with organizations supporting under-resourced students and their families.
The maximum capacity for this class is 12 students.
