The Little Dispatch is out today! ποΈ
We're thrilled to share that the latest issue of The Little Dispatch is on newsstands and in libraries today! This issue is packed with original reporting, illustrations, and even a crossword puzzle, all created by our young journalists.
In this issue:
Sammy, age 8, takes readers back to the age of dinosaurs, right here in our own backyard. His reported piece features an interview with Dr. Lisa Amati, the New York State Museum and State Paleontologist, and includes original illustrations of three dinosaurs that roamed what is now the Northeast. Check out the full interview here.
Leon, age 8, tackles a burning question for spring break jet-setters: Hawaii or Florida? His comparison piece features firsthand accounts from kids who've been to both.
Henry, age 12, sits down with Coach Adamo to preview the Dobbs Ferry Eagles' baseball season. A young roster is ready to play ball and prove itself. Art by Quinn, age 9.
And Sienna, age 10, created a spring-themed crossword covering the season and sustainability.
Our young reporters and illustrators put their all into this issue β we hope you enjoy reading their work as much as we loved making it with them. Pick up your copy of the Rivertowns Dispatch at local newsstands and libraries this week only!
